Rural Africa Development Conference (RADeC)

Shaping the Future of Rural Development in Africa...

The Rural Africa Development Conference (RADeC) is our annual flagship event that brings together policymakers, researchers, practitioners, community representatives, and development partners to share innovations, build strategic partnerships, and collectively shape the rural development agenda across Africa.

RADeC originally started as the Young Rural Developers Summit (YORDS) but was re-envisioned following an independent sustainability assessment report.

  • Shape Policy Agendas: Influence rural development priorities and approaches
  • Share Innovations: Showcase successful approaches and emerging solutions in rural development
  • Amplify Rural Voices: Ensure community perspectives guide development discourse
  • Catalyze Collective Action: Mobilize coordinated responses to shared challenges
  • Build Partnerships: Connect organizations and individuals for impactful collaboration
